Review content:
Had dinner the the other evening at Enso in the Epicentre and just like every other place in the Epicentre it's busy, but the quality of food at Enso is a good reason for the crowd. The atmosphere in Enso is very nice and contemporary. It is sectioned off fairly well with a large bar area and lounge section on one side and a more proper dining experience on the other side with a sushi bar to watch the chef's prepare. We started off with an Edamame appetizer which was, well Edamame, nothing special. I ordered a Salad with Ginger dressing; this is my new favorite Ginger dressing. It's light and flavorful, works just perfect. As entree I ordered some Sashimi and the 007 Roll. The roll was good, but not worth the $13. The sashimi was Hamachi and the waitress, I think was confused because I wanted Maguro (different kind of Fish), but either way it was fresh and a chance for me to try something new. Sashimi is served in 3 pretty big slices but runs you about $9 depending on the cut. Overall if your looking to drop some loot to impress someone this is a pretty good place to do so. The atmosphere is good, there's plenty to do afterward nearby and its good quality. One thing that all restaurants in the Epicentre need to do is offer complimentary valet or validate parking with a meal purchase. I ended up paying $15 to park plus spent $75 on dinner. UPDATE: Had dinner last night with a pretty influential group of people and was not impressed at all. There were 8 of us total and everyone agreed that this place needs some work. The service was sub par to say the least. I think we saw the waiter when we sat down, ordered and got the check. The sushi is great, i'll give them that...still overpriced but good. Deducting a star. Pros: Good Quality Food, Great Atmosphere Cons: Parking Expensive, Overpriced
