Just like the TV sitcom ""Cheers"", Amber Rene' Salon is a place I look forward to go to after a hard day's work to enjoy a fantastic men's styling, using quality salon hair products, a soothing/relaxing scalp and neck massage, not to mention a complimentary beverage - A place where ""everyone knows your name""! (literally) - I can't say I know much about hair, but I know how I want to look and how I want to feel about myself and It starts as I walk in the salon's door - There I'm greeted by a receptionist who is busy scheduling an appointment but has the courtesy to radiantly smile and acknowledge my entrance - She knows my name, as she leaves briefly to inform my stylist I'm there - Impressive! - I begin to get comfortable and take a seat with other patrons in the waiting area and begin my journey to relaxation - The wait was short but amid the cascading waterfall in the receptionist area, I had the delight in speaking to a woman and her teenage daughter who drove all the way from Orem to have their ""do's done"" and nails manicured - They were referred by a friend who had visited the salon after it recently opened and decided to come up after seeing the salon showcased on the local morning news - Later they were going to enjoy a dinner and movie with their friend at the nearby Jordan Commons - My time has arrived and my stylist Amber comes to greet me, and my journey continues - As I walk past the other stylists busy with their customers, yes, I'm greeted by name - Everyone knows my name, Kevin, and I could not be more impressed! - They are as happy to see me as I am to see them - Wow, that's gotta make anyone feel good, let alone making a man feel right! - But I'm in Amber's hands now as she meticulously styles my hair, the style she creates will last me three weeks until my next appointment - My visit at Amber Rene' Salon was the total experience, again! - Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces, patrons and stylists alike, I can understand why this is a top-notch salon for everyone's hair needs . . . nails, too, from what I hear - A simple ""Cheers!"" (with my bottled water) to Amber for continued success with her new venture.
