I agree that this place lacks consistency and that the staff does not really seem to care about their clients. I had tried this place 4x, hoping that the decor would live up to the service they offered. The first time I went, I found someone I really liked but she ended up leaving. The next 2 times I went, the hair washers were rude and the hairdressers seemed bored and gossiped, but at least I got a decent haircut. I did not leave feeling pampered and taken care of at all. This past time, I tried someone else and he cut my hair the exact way I had asked him NOT to. I have thin hair and know exactly how I like it cut so I don't know if he fake listened to me and just did what he wanted to, or what. However, given that he didn't even talk to me, I felt that he was intentionally screwing me over, which he did because my hair look ridiculous for a dinner event I had the next day. Both him and the hair washer stunk of cigarette smoke as well. They must have just finished up smoking when I came in. The icing on the cake is that I called to complain in the hopes of having my haircut fixed or getting a partial refund. The manager was nice enough and insisted that she would help resolve the problem and call me back. However, its over 2 weeks later and I haven't heard back. I've even tried calling to see if I can come in, but alas no returns to my phone calls. Pretentious place with mediocre service and now, add a lack of customer service to this review!
