Where do I even begin! This is BY FAR the WORST company I have EVER done business with! Where do I begin? First off, when they came out to give us an estimate and show us their inventory to choose from we SPECIFICALY said- ""There is one thing that is IMPERATIVE and that is our 220 window unit HAS to fit in the back window (we are remodeling and decided to do windows before installing central AC because the windows were in BAD shape and we couldn't afford both projects at once."" We explained over and over that the AC had to fit in THAT specific window due to that is the only 220 outlet in the house. The ""window specialist"" who came out walked over to the ac and did some measuring and said ""OH YEA, it will fit with a few INCHES to spare."" So they show up to install (TWO weeks AFTER our scheduled date) and started on the front of the house- took them 2 days to do all 14 windows. For starters, the first day after they left we noticed they had sanded down the wood from the old windows they were removing and LEFT the shavings ALL OVER our living room floor along with RUSTY NAILS knowing I had a 2 year old son in the house! That was just the beginning! They would show up for an hour-pull out one old window and then leave for ""break"" and not come back for 2 or 3 hours and while they were gone there was just a big opening in the house where bugs were flying in and not to mention the fact that this was in July and it was over 100 degrees outside. It was ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER! Then the really great part happened- they get to the back of the house, tear the window out, put the new one in and THEN the guy comes in and tells me ""umm, mam, You do realize that there's no way in hell this AC is going to fit in this window, right? It was WAY to big, talking INCHES to wide and tall! So I called the supervisor and told him that we specifically said it was a deal breaker if that window unit wouldn't fit- He kept saying he was ""trying to get it figured out"" NEVER heard from him again. I CALLED AND CALLED- no response! Yet again it gets even worse! We went ahead and had central ac put in the following day- while they were installing the AC unit we went around to open the windows and they WOULDN'T OPEN! So I called the installation manager and he came out and informed me that the installation crews FORGOT to chim them so basically they were junk because he would have to break the windows to get them back out in order to chim them. He told me he was ordering all new windows and he would come out personally and install them since everything we had been through. That night we are laying in bed and hear this loud CRASH- one of the bedroom windows FELL OUT OF THE HOUSE- not the glass, THE ENTIRE window. Two days later, the dining room one fell out. THREE weeks went by and I NEVER heard from this manager who was ordering new windows until he finally left me a message saying ""I am so sorry to tell you this but the company who made your windows went out of business so I cant replace them, I apologize."" THAT WAS IT. I WAS LIVID! I called him a million times and even went down there, couldn't reach them! On top of everything else, we paid an extra 400 bux for the lifetime warranty on the windows that covered EVERYTHING, even being broke by a kid hitting it with a ball because with these windows they were made to where you couldnt replace the glass only- had to replace the WHOLE window since they were double pane! So that's my story up until next thursday when I am meeting him in small claims court for CONSUMER FRAUD! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! (by the way- the only reason I clicked on a star at all is because it wouldn't let me post without doing it!
