Review content:
This was our first and most likely last attempt to dine at Hunters Grill and were quite disapointed with our entire experience. We were told on the phone that they were closing soon, (we called at 7:30) and our only option was the bar menu. They happily abliged when we arrived and let us sit in the dining room. There were cobwebs and spider/spider eggs on the window. Gross. We had the prawns with guacamole They were bland and cold, even the bread was too hard and stale with ice cold butter. The salad was over dressed and wilted. Gnocchi was gummy and way oversalted, scallops wer over cooked and rubbery. Our server (Jay, I Think) was obviously pre-occupied with his cell phone as we watched him typing away numerous times throughout our meal. Wines were nice though.
Pros: wines were good
Cons: spider webs, cold bland food, poor execution
