In my opinion they are just Feel Good Drs. My Sheltie had bumps appear on his face over night and they try to tell me they were cysts and would only get bigger, even when I told them nothing came out of the bumps when squeezed. So we had them removed because I was told it would be tiny slits and they would pop out. When they did the surgery and discovered they were solid masses and treated them like cancer leaving horrible scars for nothing. The biopsy came back that they were Cutaneous histio Cytosis, an auto immune desease which was brought on by an allergy ( found out by my alergist ). I was never told to get a needle biopsy to test these bumps which would have saved my dog from the surgery and scarring. Shame on you Dr. Wright/Wrong for telling me my dog wasn't a show dog so scarring up his beautiful face didn't matter. When you don't know what something is, the right thing to do is to refer people to a specialist, and not tell them to ignore the bumps as I was told at first, then later told they were cysts.
