Businiess name:  Gyros House
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Some restaurants have bright, shining, expensive decors to go along with their fantastic food. Gyros House is not one of those places. The food is great, and their location in the Loop is definately low rent. But when I think about it, that's part of the Gyros House charm. It's a very small dining room, only a handfull of tables. The kitchen is pretty much right behind the counter where you order. Sure, it's poorly lit and not at all polished, but (as I have learned from larger cities) that is sometimes where the best food is to be found. The Deluxe Gyros platter is piled high with fettah cheese, lettuce, tomatos, and onions. They have several other varities of gyros too. Consider using this place for take-out, as the dining room fills fast. Pros: Great Gyros, Good location, authentic Greek Cons: Might be hard to find, small, not the best decor
