Review content:
I waited a very long time to get my first tattoo. I visited many artists, and I saw a lot of shops going with friends to get their ink. I can't speak for other artists at his shop, as none of them have worked on me. My husband, J has gotten work from Jason, and it appears he does good work. Big 'ol Bart pierced my eyebrow, and I was satisfied with my service. I went to see Butch first though, J took me to see him because most of his tattoos were from Butch. I was happy with his work on all counts--clean needles, cautious use of ink (preventing cross-contamination), gloves, and then some--all the precautions were taken. I was advised to use Neosporin or Triple-Antibiotic ointment for the first 24 to 48 hours, and then to apply an alcohol and fragrance free lotion to keep the area well hydrated and to prevent color fade and scarring. I have returned again and again, and I now have 6 tattoos from Butch. I'm working customer service in a place where we are allowed to wear shorts, and I am ALWAYS getting comments on the tattoo on my calf-- ""Wow! Where did you get that done?""--""Who did that?""--SOMETIMES I even reveal the shoulder cap tats I have and hear the same things. I ALWAYS recommend Butch. I see a lot of BAD tattoos in my line of work too, and when I ask where they went I never hear Butch's name, or the name of his shop.
