If you were anxiously waiting to hear the results of important CT scans and blood tests, would you want to be ignored by an irresponsible nurse? Jolie, Dr. Ling's nurse, called yesterday and left a message regarding the results of these important tests. When I heard it in the evening, I called the office, but it was closed. I stayed up most of the night thinking of worse case scenarios like most of us do in situations like this. First thing this morning, I called and left Jolie a message. I called again around noon and spoke with her personally. She mentioned she was at the front desk and couldn't turn around to get the record, but she'd return my call around 2pm. Around 5:10pm, I called again to hear she has left the office at 3pm. Are those the actions of a responsible person? I understand she was busy attending to patients in the office, but it's hard to believe she couldn't spare 5 minutes, or even less, to call with the results like she mentioned. I work at a medical facility too, and this would not be acceptable or tolerated at my office. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because of Dr. Ling. He's a good doctor, but I don't know if I could put up with his staff's negligence and carelessness.
