I went to Kittichai last night for restaurant week and had a great experience from start to finish. I got a glass of rose wine, while I waited for my table. I wouldn't reccommend the rose, but I had lichee martinis once seated and they were off the charts delicious and strong. :) We started with mussels in chili lemongrass broth, really good, a tad too spicy for me but my date was loving the chilis and the mussels were fresh and plump. My appetizers was A-MA-ZING! I am still thinking about it. Tuna tartare, really nice presentation, they give you these little pastry cups with peanut inside and then tartare is separate and the chili coconot sauce is separate you put it together yourself and eat each one as a perfect bite. Hello! Party in my mouth, what an interesting and wonderful flavor combo. For entrees we had seafood boulebaisse, which was pretty small and nothing to really write home about, but the short ribs in green curry sauce was sooooooooooo awesome. Dessert was incredible too, banana spring rolls with burnt honey ice cream, is a must have, and the flourless chocolate cake with fresh cream was pretty good too. And the cool vibe of the place makes for a great night out. Very friendly service too. I would go back in a second. This is def one of my favs now. Pros: awesome food, drinks and atmosphere, Fun&sexy Cons: maybe the prices, but hey I still think its a great place. Don't get rose wine by the glass
