Review content:
I went for a celebration with coworkers and we had an absolutely terrible lunch experience. From the minute we walked in, where people were backed-up through the door despite reservations, to the minute we sat down and our waitress came to the table it was a continuous downward spiral. Our server was overly casual and once she realized that she had used the wrong approach to the table, she quickly avoided us for the rest of the meal. I thought the bread was terrible, especially given the expectation that I rip it apart myself because I really don't enjoy having everyone at the table touch my food. The wedge salad was not good, just blue cheese dressing that I could have gotten out of a can, and the steak was okay. I went a few years ago and I really liked it, I can't remember if the restaurant has taken a crash or if my expectations have been raised dramatically. Basically, it was an expensive TGI Friday's. Pros: it is a convenient midtown spot Cons: everything else....
