I used to love this place and I've bought several pieces of jewelry and some antiques from them over the years. However, the last time I went in there I bought an ivory necklace and earrings for $200. When I got home I realized one earring was broken, so I took it back. They told me they do not take returns, and would not even offer me store credit. She did say they would try to fix if for ""no charge"". I was flabbergasted, b/c I cannot think of any retailer that would not take a return for defective merchandise. Especially when I spent that much at her store (and I only wanted to return the earrings). So much for customer service, this spot is clearly only interested in taking your money.
