Christy was rude off the bat. When I checked in, I didn't realize she was the one standing behind the counter, so I waited for someone to get her. Instead of introducing herself, she stared at me for 10 seconds and said ""sit down! I'll be there in a few."" I apologized for not realizing it was her.
During the haircut she told me my eyebrows were ""a mess,"" and asked if she could ""show me something."" I obliged and she proceeded to wax my eyebrows. Now, I'm not saying I didn't need it, but if she'd have asked I'd have been happy to pay for them. Instead, she shooed me out as another customer came in the door and yelled to the cashier - ""she had a brow wax. Charge her for that too!""
Then she turned around one last time and told me to ""book my next appointment now because I fill up quick."" False. I booked this particular haircut the day before and had my pick of times - now I know why.
The haircut is decent, but the experience is enough to ensure I never return to the Village Salon.
Other people have had good experiences at this Salon but I would steer clear of Christy!
