I rarely like restaurant food, because I can always say, I can get this meal cheaper or fix it better at home. But the Waterfront Depot in Florence is the best place on the Oregon coast. The food is terrific and the prices are so reasonable if I lived closer it would be an every day event. For now it is saved for special occasions. I've never had a bad meal, from hamburgers to steaks, and seafood. It can't be beat if you like atmosphere, a water view, and a nice humming of the crowd. It is what I call a ""fun"" place. Not pretentious, it has that certain something, it is a very special gathering spot. Your new friend is sitting at the next bar stool, which by the way is where you'll sit for dinner if you do not have reservations..a must for this place. It is rare to find ""it"" all in one spot on the coast. Don't miss this.
