My wife and I chose the Deer Harbor Inn for our honeymoon and were dissapointed from the moment we arrived. We didn't feel welcomed at all. For the kind of money charged, it seem reasonable to expect excellent service and this was just barely service at all.
If you are just looking for a place close to Deer Harbor to stay it's fine - If you are looking for someplace special however, you should look elsewhere.
Most of the cottages' views are of the parking lot with a ""peek-a-boo"" view of the harbor, if that. The grounds were not well kept, and all the little details were not tended to. For example, there were no wine glasses in our room, just paper cups.
At half the price it MIGHT be a good value....
