I'm new to the area and went to Susanna because she was the highest reviewed seamstress in my vicinity. With so many glowing reviews, I couldn't have been more disappointed.
I was having her do alterations on my very simple wedding dress (no corset, no fluff. Just a simple outdoor wedding kind of dress). Not only did Susanna try to get me to wear a corset 2 cup sizes bigger than I usually wear to essentially stuff my bra so she wouldn't have to do any work on the bustline, but she stuck large pins in the satin part of my dress leaving scratches and holes. However the worst was the glue she got all over the inside of the straps and the front of my dress. Susanna was unorganized, unprofessional and careless. I ended up taking back my dress before she was even done making all of the alterations I payed for because I was so worried she would damage my wedding dress further.
Save yourself the time, money and worry and do not use this seamstress.
