It is a surprise to find a place that serves ""reasonably"" authentic food in a place like Newcastle. When 1st recommended to me, I had no idea where it was; and I have lived in SEA for 20 yrs. It is now my #1 Chinese restaurant, A good sign is there are alot of Chinese eating there. Reasonable prices too. Get there early and order off the Chinese menu. The owner can help you if you cannot read Chinese (I don't). Food comes out v. fast, tastes fresh and lively. Fish dishes esp. good--I like the one w/soybean sauce. Also the squid. They do a huge takeout business which can be an option if you live close by. I do not think they take reservations except for 6, hence the lines at the door. It is worth trying! Pros: real Chinese food, reasonable value Cons: , so busy
