Review content:
Just went to the Asteroid for dinner for the 2nd time and again was soooo impressed. The new menu allows for more creativity from the chef but they still offer the old menu too. Marlin again outdid himself explaining various wines that would match our choice of the special. He was very open to asking how much we wanted to spend on a wine and then giving us 3 different choices. The wine was a knockout! Special of the night was grilled escolar on a bed of saffron risotto with suateed fennel and a tomato/citrus sauce. AMAZING! And for dessert be sure to order a few of the sorbets that they have flown in from Italy. Wonderful flavors tucked into the fruit they represent. We dined for 2 1/2 hours and they constantly checked on us and never hurried us along. Pros: Food, Wine list Cons: small tables
