Review content:
I've been eating Indain food all my life, starting at the age of 5 when my Indian baby-sitter would cook for me and my sister, so when my friends raved about this place, I was excited to try it. I was let down. Granted, this place is gorgeous - candles on the walls, warm colors, elegant table presentation - but the food is below average to average. One dish my fiance and I did enjoy was the lamb vindaloo, but everything else was just ok. On top of that, our waitress was too chatty and didn't ensure a smooth flow to the courses. We ordered appertizers, salads, and dinner, and the apps and salads came out quickly, but there was over a half-hour wait for our main dishes. Desserts were un-inspiring as well. For people that don't know Indian food all that well, yes, I can see that they're going to think this place is great. For those of us that know better, please do not waste your time or money. We won't be going back. Pros: Ambience and decor Cons: Food, service, prices
