Review content:
A bathtub overflowed in our 110 year old century home, causing damage to the living room ceiling below. I had two contractors estimate $3,000 - $5,000 repair cost, taking one to two weeks. State Farm Ins. recommended SMB Contractors as ""restorers of historic properties."" SMB ultimately caused extensive chaos and damage to my home, resulting in a final settled bill in excess of $28,000 plus, I'm told, cleaning bill charges around $16,000 to Preferred Cleaning, which is owned by SMB! This repair job took almost 5 MONTHS in which time all our furniture and glassware was displaced thoughout the first floor, leaving us with no dining room table, etc.
Pros: Nothing I can say that is good
Cons: Ineffectual, incompetent, unknowledgeable
