After I had I moved to Beaverton from out-of-state and lived here for several months, one of my friends expressed her shock that I hadn't been to Beaverton Bakery and that I needed to go NOW because it was so amazing!!...yada...yada...I went and picked up a few things. It's a busy place, which I understand if it's good, but they were very disorganized and after waiting for several minutes I ended up having to point out that I was next even though they have a take-a-number system. The baked goods I got were okay...nothing special in my opinion, but I figured I just didn't make a great choice.
I am helping to plan a friend's baby shower and Beaverton Bakery came up as a potential bakery to get the cake from. I looked at their options online and called to ask a couple of questions and the lady who answered was SO RUDE! I couldn't have been on the phone with her for more than 1 minute and she was not only unfriendly, but was even snotty. It's too bad - I live here and would have gotten the cake from there - but not with that attitude! I guess even in this economy they don't think they need anyone's business!
