Jake's represents the best Oregon has to offer. Downtown, the old school charm of it's antique paintings of the state's legendary landscapes combined with splendid seafood make Jake's my favorite dinner spot anywhere. Whether the occasion is entertaining guests or family from out-of-town, a romantic dinner, or just a casual get-together, Jake's is the spot. Never had a bad experience, the service is excellent and the decor is classy yet unpretentious. Seafood is to die for, especially the oysters available for choosing in the bar. Never had a bad piece of fish, and the sturgeon is always out of this world. Patron for life.
