Just recently celebrated my wife's birthday by taking her out to Jake's. I made the reservations 2 weeks in advance knowing how busy they can get. When the night arrived they curiously misplaced my reservation and then just stared at me as if I were suppose to confess that I actually hop around to busy portland eateries for the fun of it claiming to have a reservation. No apologies were given either. End result we got a table 30 min later, dined on amazing Austrailian lobster tails and had a great server. Jake's, you might want to look into how you take & store your reservations.
