As a recently retired Retired Pennsylvania State Certified Executive Chef / Culinary Arts Instructor (for almost 40 years), and newly relocated resident of this fantastic state, I feel qualified to say ""this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had"". The noise level in the restaurant was horrible, augmented by the cackling cow seated directly behind me. The appetizer ordered for our party of five plus a toddler, had an eggplant compote that was fizzing on the tongue. When I suggested to the lovely waitress that they check it, she promptly removed it and came back in a short time with a replacement (explaining that the chef said ""the first one was from the bottom of the container and probably was bad"". When our dinner was served, my was tasteless. I did not care for it and decided not to eat it. The waitress once again extended herself by removing it from our bill. Nobody in our party was overly thrilled with their respective dishes, but I guess I am more discriminating and found fault to the point where I said I would never return. The final straw was the serving of ""HUSH PUPPIES"" for which I understand Salvador Molly's is famous. They were, and I kid you not, as hard as rocks. When I bounce one on the table to show one of the waiters my displeasure, he explained that they have been having a problem with them by not being able to deep fry enough on demand so they have been making them in advance, causing them to reach a state of petrification that would rival the pre-historic fossils that have been unearthed over the years. Suffice to say.... I am done with Salvador Molly's and shall never return. I suggest you as a reader take my advice and avoid this place from the start. Pros: A delightful waitress named Araura Cons: Everything......
