Okay, my wife and I have a guilty pleasure, we eat a lot of sushi. We are constantly looking for new places, so we heard about Tokyo from a friend and decided to try it. When we walked in I was a bit afraid. The place is nicely decorated, but the fish in the bar looked less than fresh. We decided to give it a shot anyway, and we were surprised several times. The first was with the friendliness and experience of the Chef. There is only one Chef, so he may be slow, but his work is quality. I think he uses different fish than what you find in the bar window, because the sushi came out beautiful and fresh. The miso soup was a bit salty, but the rolls and nigri were spot on. The last surprise came with the bill. This place is more spendy than our other haunts, so I cannot give it my full recommendation...but if you don't care too much for coin, give it a shot. I still suggest traveling down the road a bit to check out Sushi & Maki instead, but Tokyo can do. Pros: Fresh fish, competent chef Cons: More expensive than others
