Review content:
In my lifetime I've been to three (more or less) Chinese buffet restaurants. I'm not usually a buffet person to begin with, but I was actually pleased with this place. In terms of what's offered, they have the usual fare (seafood including crabs and chiliean seabass; peking duck; etc.), but they also have stuff that other buffet places don't offer (the following has NO extra charge: soda; bubble/tapioca pearl beverages). They also have a decent variety of Chinese-style soups (not just wonton & hot & sour!). One reason I don't usually like buffets is that the food is almost always lukewarm, but this place is decent. The atmosphere - the place is shaped and decorated like a diner. As for dessert, they actually have a chocolate fountain! Desserts also include the usual: many different types of pastries, soft ice cream, fresh fruit, etc. In terms of service - they clear the plates off your table in a routine and timely manner so that you can always seat yourself back down with clear space. Highly recommended if you like Chinese buffets.
Pros: Great variety of foods offered; Beverages (except for alcohol) are included; Decent value
Cons: It's in Long Island and not in the city
