Review content:
It's not always easy to find unusual beads. I was looking for long strands of metallic bugle beads for a costume--and I found a good variety at Main Street Bead Connection. The eclectic shop has both mainstream choices and funky choices, and the staff all seem to be very experienced beaders. They answered all my questions quickly and efficiently. Classes are offered in various types of beadwork, and there are some pieces of jewelry and beadwork for sale.
It's located really near the main bus stop in downtown Vancouver, and since (metered) parking is on the street, I'd recommend locking your car just to be on the safe side. But it's a great place to visit and well worth the trip.
