Looking for the best Colon Surgery & Rectal Surgery doctor in Chicago area? Well, Dr. Heilizer may be just that. After having 3 other procedures, I can say this doctor was far better than any of them. I was in pain for a couple days - but walking around no problems. Further, I was literally at work 4 days later (with only tylenol), and the pain was minor. That is amazing (probably not average), but true. Compare that to previous surgeries where I was unable to walk for weeks, or the doctor screams profanity at nurses trying to get me released from recovery!
