If you are a Department of Defense cardholder, you definately want to visit the Thrift Shop on Hanscom Air Force Base located at 1825 Grenier Street in Bedford, Mass. This shop is the place to find true treasures for next to nothing. Do you wonder why? Well military members PCS (permanent change of station) frequently and it is often more cost effective to donate or consign their items instead of paying to move them. Although only military members can consign, everyone can donate and shop.
Pros: great bargains, great variety, great staff
Cons: DoD cardholders only, military only consign, limited hours
