Businiess name:  Thai Tom

Review content:
I've been there plenty of times, but usually out of convenience. I honestly think Thai Tom is one of the most overrated Thai restaurants in town -- their menu is a bit lacking for my tastes, and every meal I have had there has been unremarkable. They are never bad, but I have never once used the word ""great"" to describe my experiences there. On the positive side, I do like the fact that they actually make their food spicy when I request it, unlike many other establishments. These days, I find myself drifting more towards Araya when I want Thai food on the Ave (their lunch buffet is a great deal); otherwise, I go to Kwanjai Thai in Fremont (the best Thai food I've had north of Lake Union -- I've never had a bad experience there).
