Review content:
In my opinion, APACHE STATION APARTMENTS in Tempe, AZ are a DISHONEST organization. They prey on young college students who for the most part are moving out on their own for the first time. My college age child thought they had signed a 12 month lease only to find 12 months later, that the apartment representative had written the lease for 14 months without discussing it with my child. I suppose it's a coincidence that the additional 2 months got the complex through their slow summer season. When we discovered this, I tried on several occasions to schedule an appointment with the manager to discuss this matter. They would never return my call. When it came time to move out, we tried to schedule a walk through with the manager only to be told that they don't do this. They have way to many apartments to walk through with every resident. Furthermore, we were told that the managers would walk through the unit and let us know the condition with our final statement. Well surprise surprise, my child didn't get any deposit back AND they demanded an additional $300 or they would turn my child over to collections. What a way to start life on your own.
