In perusing the reviews, I expected fair service and long lines but good food. So, we tried it tonight (Monday). We got a reservation for the time we requested, were seated easily, and served immediately. Our server (Calvin, I think) was fabulous- knowledgable, witty, patient, with just the right amount of attentiveness. I had the Sashimi A plate ($25) - approx. 18 (?) pieces of the freshest raw fish this side of Japan. It did not look like a lot but it was very satisfying. We also had an Atlantic salmon special and wood-grilled Mountain Brook Trout. Place was noisy but we soon did not notice - good wine, great food, and fun company added up to a memorable evening!
Pros: Fresh seafood, Excellent waiter, Fun atmosphere
Cons: Too $$$ for everyday
