Review content:
I have lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years and the food at the ""broiler"" is so tired. Their menu has not changed in any meaningful way in the last 20 years. Most of the servers have been there on average of 15-20 years and the majority of them are cranky. The service is subtandard as well. I can't imagine why it is on the ""Best Steaks in Seattle"" list. The food is more ""institutional"" than anything else. The only ""fresh"" vegatable they have is broccoli, all their other veggies come out of a can. What a joke. I don't mean to rip on the food, but there are so many other restaurants in the neighborhood that are so much better, the only reason to go to the Broiler is for their libations. The bar is where it's at.... the Broiler has Cristy and Kathy who are the real reason most come to this establishment. They free pour the drinks and you always get your monies worth especially during Happy Hour.
