Review content:
Going out to dinner for a special occassion is one of the most difficult things you can do as a vegan, especially when your family is carnivorous... but Le Bistro has the most accomodating chef I have ever encountered! \r
\r
Not only did he walk me through the menu over the phone, pointing out the various substitions and ingredients available, but he even met with me when I arrived to again make recommendations and find out what flavors I liked. \r
\r
Before the first course was even served we received complimentary glasses of champagne in honor of my birthday. The meal ended with the chef coming out to personally toast my celebration with glasses of port. \r
\r
The food was delicious and just the right amount (I actually had leftovers to bring home), and I found the price reasonable ($35/4 course dine out menu).\r
\r
We plan to go back for many more occassions!
