I heard that there was a local store that bought/sold vintage video games. I went to go check it out.
The moment I stepped into the store, the owner/clerk was on the phone chatting. Every time I asked him a question - while on the phone - gave me a really angered look. I'm sorry if I'm asking you to do your job for a second.
He was completely not helpful. When I asked what kind of vintage games he had, he showed me where they were. They were behind a counter where I couldn't go to inspect them. When I asked if he had a catalog I could look through, he said he did not. So basically the only games I could see were the ones directly facing me.
When I did finally make a choice, I decided to use a check card. Again, I seemed to be inconveniencing him and he demanded I use cash. Just a complete non-professional.
The experience was not worth it. This store has lost my business permanently. I don't know if that guy was the owner, but it should be known that he's the reason for it.
