Support is driven through the experiance of individuals who have actually overcome the disabling power of mental illness by delivering hope, empathy, education, advocacy, and support. The organization has embrased the personal responsibility to reduce stigma that often plagues communities. The preventive attitudes embraced by the ill informed are challanged through their tirless efforts to be recognized as human beings, rather than second class citizens.
