Businiess name:  Magoo's Bar & Bistro

Review content:
Let me introduce myself. My name is Chuck and I work at a great little bar and bistro in McCandless called Magoo?s. Since I am by far the oldest member of the staff and am very visible as a server/manager, my nickname is Papa Magoo. Most any night that you come in to Magoo?s, Papa Magoo will be on duty. In the 5+ years that I have been privileged to work here, I have met many wonderful people we call our guests. Some have been coming to our restaurant for years, some have left for awhile and returned, and some are new - but they all have one thing in common. They all appreciate the fine service, wonderful food at a fair price, and great drinks that we serve. Our head chef, Ryan ?Looch? Lucci, and our bar manager, Shane Morrison, are well known in Pittsburgh and considered at the top of their professions. We will deliver a great meal and drinks or Looch and Shane will hear about it. We do occasionally make a mistake, but we always ask that you share your opinions honestly and we do let Looch and Shane know why you are dissatisfied. It is how we run our business. I want to share with you some of my menu favorites. Some have stood the test of time and some are new. Please understand that my choices reflect my taste and what I like and might not be the same as yours. Everything is good, it is just a matter of individual taste. For Starters, I like our new Crab topped Portabella and hot Crab Dip. Our Chicken Quesadilla and extra crispy Wings have stood the test of time. All of our salads, both side salads and dinner salads, are tasty and made with fresh ingredients, but my favorites are the Mediterranean Chicken Salad and the Seared Salmon Salad. Our soups are always our Shrimp Bisque and a rotating Soup-of-the-Day and are well received by our guests. My favorite Entrees are the Parmesan encrusted Salmon, the Lemon Chicken Piccata, and the Crabcakes. To finish your meal, our Apple Crisp and Bread Pudding will nicely satisfy your sweet tooth. If you go to our website you can review our menu and see the full range of selections we offer. Shane has some very nice wine and micro beer offerings to complement your meal and he also has some bar specials every day of the week if you just want to come in and relax with friends. We invite you to become a part of our great family of guests. Pros: wonderful food, great drinks, value pricing
