It is worth the extra drive to go to another gym - as long as it's not a Ballys! TERRIBLE! Beware of going to this place. The staff is NOT helpful at all. The gym floor manager is TOTALLY RUDE and if you don't pay through the nose for one of their 'personal trainers', you will be treated like a second class customer. We (foolishly) signed up and paid for a 3 year commitment - big mistake. We used the gym for 2 years. And one day, they said we couldn't use a certain area of the gym that we used all the time before. The floor manager at the Anaheim Bally's on Magnolia was totally rude to us, kicked us out of the said area and wouldn't hear us out. He actually told us that he didn't care what our contract said. When we tried to talk to the general manager of the club he butted in the conversation and continued to be rude and basically told us too bad so sad these are the new rules. The gym itself is OLD, SMELLY, DIRTY and EXTREMELY OUTDATED. You will be working out in a big box - an enclosed room. No windows and only 5 little tv's up on one wall - half are playing the ""Bally's channel"" which has advertisements for ..... Yup - Ballys! and lame videos from the 80's and 90's. The other tv's are playing random sports shows. We have been trying to contact Ballys corporate for 2 months now... Good luck trying to get any money back - even when THEY renig on their contract with you. NEVER GO TO THIS BALLYS - NEVER GO TO ANY BALLYS.
