Review content:
I love to frequent the STA on Newbury and the other Boston locations. They are a fun and one of the nicer consignment places. Everything is so well marked and they always have good sales. They have a wide selection of clothing meaning lots of sweaters, knits, pants, skirts, dresses, shoes, etc. You can find labels from the unknown to Gap, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Dolce, etc.
What I don't love is that they don't always have the best turnover of clothing. It's not like a regular retail store where they get deliveries weekly. So if you are a big shopper you may be sifting through the same stuff more often. But that's why it's so great that they have a lot of stores.
I'm bummed out when I do find something I like and it's not in ""sellable"" condition in my opinion - oil stain, minor tear, too many fuzz balls, too faded, etc. So I'm surprised they would accept those items to sell, but maybe because of the economic times they are having a tougher time too?
Overall I would always recommend the STA as one of your shopping places. Some of them even have new boutique items...
