I moved to Plainfield and I needed to have four sheer panel curtains cut and hemmed from 84 inches to 64 inches, because of the presence of a radiator. Each panel at Linen N Things costs me $14.99, so the total for all 4 was $60.00. When I picked up my curtains they charged me $70.00 to cut and hem them; more then it would have cost me to buy brand new curtains at a shorter length. Needless to say I was shocked and outraged! I dropped the curtains off on October 19 and they were not ready until October 27. I have had things hemmed before and in my wildest imaginings even a high end price of $10.00 a panel would at least be in the realm of decency, but $17.50 a panel, absurd and a rip off. As you can guess, G.O. Kellers will not be my new cleaners.
