Review content:
We have lived here for several years now and up until recently we hadn't had a problem with our tenancy. Lately the management has proven itself to be inexperienced and unprofessional. Speaking as someone whose entire career has been based upon customer service and retail/hospitality management, I have to say the way that conflict is handled at these apartments is immature. I work 6-7 days a week and am not home other than to sleep and watch a little tv. I rarely have guests. My husband has his friends over once a week for poker and they stop by 10PM, which is quiet hours. Our downstairs neighbor has recently taken up some kind of vendetta against us. One poker night she sent the after hours security up to our apartment shortly after ten and he found my husband alone with our dog quietly watching tv, waiting for me to get off work. Another morning the neighbor accosted me as I was walking to my car with my 6 year old sister who had spent the night and she told me that we had to stop running around all night. Perhaps my sister was running but I put her to bed at 8 the night before, well before quiet hours. The woman lives in an apartment. She can't expect that her neighbors won't have friends/children. We have not violated the quiet hours. Recently the management left a note on our door, to our apartment only, that was a ""Quiet hours reminder."" My husband spoke to the assistant manager, Diane, about the issue and she was less than helpful, telling him she couldn't do anything. Poor conflict resolution skills. Last week all the apartments had a note on their doors stating that the parking lot will be restriped on Wed. and to have our cars moved. Not a problem, right? This morning I went to my car at 6:45AM and there was a note taped to my car - and mine alone - in all caps, telling me that my car needed to be moved by 8AM on Weds. We are being singled out, and this is unacceptable management. My next step is to go the property management company with my complaints. Pros: Nice apartments, well located, walking distance to stores/high school Cons: Extremely poor management, high rent hikes with each renewal
