We've been to Park Ave Pizza numerous times and have always enjoyed our experience, however we just recently went on a Friday and don't plan on returning. The food was good as always, but the service was extremely slow and not good. Our waitress never checked to see if we needed refills on our drinks and when we were able to flag her down, she would disappear forever before coming back with anything. I ran out of water and she never refilled it. I asked her to bring my son a water and we were almost done with our pizza before she came back with it. I ended up sharing what little was left of my water with him in the meantime. Four of us (including children) were there for well over an hour and a half and granted, we had one appetizer, but we were sitting there with no food for a long long time. Had the waitress apologized for the slow service even once or kept our drinks refilled, I would not be complaining. This is the first complaint I have ever written about a restaurant and it's too bad it's about Park Ave. I never would have imagined such a bad experience there. Hopefully the waitress's 10% tip was a clue that our whole table was very unhappy.
