I am thoroughly disgusted. This place tortures animals, in a word. They have rabbits that are unable to take care of themselves, but they keep them alive, in pain, without proper veterinary care. There are animals in back, crying out in pain- an ex-employee told me that they have one die almost daily due to neglect. Evidently, the owner, Sandy Ackerman, can't allow an animal suffering to be put down because ""she hates people so much"" (S. Ackerman's words, not mine). There are feces everywhere, ferrets with terminal cancer that can't digest their food, rodents with tumors and no care for the majority of them. She seems to fancy herself as better than any vet out there (again, her words) and performs surgeries and procedures on these poor, defenseless animals without anesthesia or pain medication- Sheer torture!! Most of them die, thank goodness, but what a horrible way to go.
Pros: Great place if you are into torturing animals
Cons: The ethics of this place is staggering
