Review content:
Jack has made use of his somewhat traditional waste bunkers, they add a different element to the course. Easy to play from for the low handicapper (because you can ground your club and just play it as a tight fairway lie), but for the weekend golfer these areas can be troublesome. Truly a remarkable course with many opportunities for risk / rewards shots. Many par 5's are reachable in two, for the long hitters, but the greens are well protected by water or bunkers. Also the island green 13th ( found out while I was playing the surface area of the green is smaller than that of 17th @ TPC Sawgrass.
With the tee boxes offering the entire spectrum of distance, The Long Bay Club will cater to many levels of golfers, offering a challenge but still not punishing.
Pros: A great risk reward golf course,
Cons: lots of waste bunkers!
