In Oct. '09 before the cold months really hit, we decided to go ahead and take advantage of the new tax rebate and do half of our windows in our older home (pre-1900's). We choose to do the rooms which were the most drafty, but also got the most use. The first thing I noticed after the installers left was the reduction in noise levels around the neighborhood - all of a sudden that leaf blower across the street wasn't so loud...that was awesome! Then the cold weather really came, and we enjoyed much warmer, non-drafty parts of our house that had the NewPro windows installed.
