Review content:
A friend and I stayed at the Madison for our first trip to Fire Island and LOVED it. It?s a small guest house located on Atlantic Walk, about 3 houses away from the ferry dock toward the beach. We regularly stay at high-end boutique hotels and guests houses and have high expectations. Our room at the Madison ranked with the best?super-comfortable bed, chic furnishings and bathroom fixtures, flat screen TV, fast internet?the works! The common areas were equally stunning. The pool and hot tub are surrounded by lush gardens and flowing white curtains. There are several levels of decks, offering numerous private spots to relax. The roof level has a great view of the ocean. There are only a few bedrooms, so the place is nice and private, but the pool area and living room are social. Managers Lou and Michael really made the weekend special. Both were very friendly, fun, and helped guide us through the exciting Pines social schedule! We had called ahead for tips about transportation, etc. One suggestion that we're really glad we followed was to arrive early enough to attend Low Tea, a late afternoon dance party that turned out to be a great way to kick off each of our evenings. Pros: Amenities, Convenience, Service, Location
