The sushi here is poor compared to many of the other sushi places. Not that the fish is actually bad but the portions of the fish to rice ratio is bad. ie., big ball of rice and fish on top skiced so thin that you can just about see through it! and then they have a sign up at the sushi bar that says you have to eat all the rice or you will be charged extra! I will never go there again! The chinese food on the othwer side of the restruant is just ok, your typical amercanized - chines food, sweet gloppy sauce on top of deep fried pieces of pork and chicken, and the usual fried rice. No real chinese food here. But at lease there are real Chinese people working here.....and the sushi bar is not staffed by Mexicans like most of all the sushi bars in the area. I would take a pass on this place. The Basil has much better food in town here ( Thai). Pros: Actual Asians staffing the sushi bar Cons: sushi is all cheaped out, bad fish to rice ratio.
