Well, let me first say that I do not nor have I ever worked at Faux Glow! I see that most of the bad reviews oddly enough get a response from the owner saying that the person was retaliating b/c she fired them?? Hmm... well, I never worked there and will be happy to show my pictures of how orange and streaky I was. The pictures have a time stamp as well and I have my rcpt with time on it too... no falsifying here. Finally let me say that if YOU end up unhappy with your shade of ORANGE - they are not thrilled to work with you. That's what happened to me and I disputed the charge with my credit card company. The letter rcvd back was full of lies that were actually comical!! The owner stated that I was so HAPPY with my RESULTS that I tipped the tech $20 dollars ... she even makes herself sound silly enough to ask ""why would she do that if she weren't happy with the RESULTS?""... Hmm? Funny, we don't get RESULTS until 6 to 12 hours later correct?? So when I tipped my generous $20 bucks it was b/c I was generous... and even if I ended up with purple polka dots (I did not!! Only turned blotchy orange w/pics to show it) ... I was still sprayed by the tech so the tip was for her service .. not for the bonus of turning orange! I won't even mention the tech's name b/c she did her job of spraying..... Next she tried to say that I do this all over town!! She said I TOLD THEM that I call and complain and then get my money back!! Hmmm?? I guess if that was my MO, then I why would I tell THEM before doing the same?? Let me give out my name to be checked out!! So funny!! This is only my 2nd tanning place gone to and I LOVED the first one (name available upon request)... my friend didn't have the same results as me... but they worked w/her and she was ultimately satisfied (unlike this experience). It's funny b/c when I told her the name of the other tanning place, one of the techs said it's their competition... At any rate... whether you realize it or not, you sign something stating that you cannot get your money back NO MATTER WHAT COLOR THEY TURN YOU!!!... so be warned!! I am happy to say that my credit card company refunded ME as a courtesy anyway b/c I refiled my dispute and while they understood the situation - the problem is the paper that was signed. However, as an EXCELLENT customer (who does NOT abuse disputes!) they credited my account for the FULL AMOUNT (and sent me a letter confirming the same)and so as long as I am not out the money, it's not as bad. The credit card company will make a note and watch for other complaints about this merchant... but I am appreciative I did not have to pay to be turned orange. Luckily the color only lasted less than 4 days (although all my scrubbing to remove the orange look may have helped!). Be warned!! If you have any questions of my experience there please let me know! I have all my paperwork as well showing my refund and my dispute as well so as to prove this complaint is genuine.
Pros: Can't think of any... oh, street parking after 7P
Cons: It turned me orange with streaks on my legs!!
