Open for business!
We've begun a new era in the fight against Metro Detroit unemployment... and in the quest for great merchandise at low prices. Customers can now ""shop for jobs"" at our new flagship retail store in Canton.
Sure, there are other resale stores in the region, but for the past 10 years, not one of them has been a true Goodwill store, existing to support our mission of helping local people become trained, trusted and ready to work.
Just across from IKEA at 41937 Ford Rd. in Canton, the flagship Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit store features upscale gently used clothing and household items hand selected by our staff. Only the best items donated to our efforts will make it to the showroom floor.
Specials:
Goodwill Rewards: Receive one point for each dollar spent. Collect 150 points and receive 15% off your next purchase.
Senior Discount: 10% discount for seniors upon request.
Tag Sales: Every clothing item in the store has a colored tag. Each week, we'll offer 50% off clothing with a certain tag color! Ask an employee for this week's Tag Sale color.
MORE DEALS: Check out our ""'Shop for Jobs' Upscale Resale Deals"" photo album for this month's calendar of special sale events.
Hours:
9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday
Noon to 6 p.m Sunday
Donate for Jobs:
8 a.m. to 8.pm Monday through Saturday

College Hunks Hauling in partnership with Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit is also providing an added service for your items. In addition to your donatable items, College Hunks Hauling will also take any items that you no longer want or need. For a discounted fee from our original rates we can go anywhere in your house or commercial property and recycle or dispose other items you may be looking to get rid of.
Keep an eye on our Facebook (Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit) posts for the ""Item of the Week"" - unique items at a great discount!
