Review content:
I have poor credit, so I felt first class cars would be my best option. The salesman was nice and attentive and offered to show me the carfax report of the car I was interested in, however, he insisted it had only two owners and had never been in an accident.
So I bought a 94 Geo prizm for an outrageous 4,000 dollars, but again I have terrible credit and needed a car quick.
Here I am six months after buying the car paying well over 1,000 dollars to a mechanic for a broken clutch and two broken engine mounts. Sure clutches go out, I know this, but come on! Six months after buying it!! I still owe 2,500 dollars on the car.
I went back to the dealership to see if I could see the carfax report, and the once friendly salesman who was no longer so friendly told me that carfax are only offered before the purchase of the car. I happen to know that dealerships have subscriptions to these types of sites and can pull the information for free anytime, I know this because my sister used to own a car dealership. Clearly they have something to hide with this particular car, but there is not a damn thing I can do about it because I bought it ""as is."" THESE PEOPLE PREY ON FOLKS WHO KNOW LITTLE ABOUT CARS, AND HAVE BAD CREDIT TO BOOT. A 1994 GEO PRIZM IS PRICED AT 2,500 DOLLARS IN KELLY BLUE BOOK, MINE IN THE END WILL END UP COSTING WELL OVER 6,000 DOLLARS!!!!!!! I DONT KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE SLEEP AT NIGHT!
